JVC JT-V11
The JT-V11 was the entry-level model in the JVC's JT series of FM/AM stereo tuners from the late 1970s. Apparently, the earlier JT-V11 version was available only in silver, with a black scale and instruments background, while the later JT-V11G was offered in both silver and black finishes, with a matching background.
The FM front end uses a 3-gang tuning capacitor, and the following amplification stage includes two 10.7MHz ceramic IF filters. The HA1137W is used in the FM IF section, while the HA1196 handles stereo multiplex decoding.
The front panel is made of brushed aluminum. The chassis is constructed of metal and has a hatch on the bottom that allows access for servicing. The tuning scale has no illumination. Only the tuning needle is illuminated. Overall, the appearance is simple and clean. Reception is great and sound performance is remarkably good for this class.
